Installed grout repair hardens in 15-20 minutes.
After thoroughly cleaning the tile and grout, use a small bowl for mixing tiny batches. It is important to mix tiny batches as you have a limited time to apply the material to the hole or crack in the grout before it hardens. Add tiny drips of water slowly as you agitate the mix until a soft mashed potatoes mud forms. (Please understand as with any cement-based material, you cannot add additional water after the material begins to firm up or harden as you will disrupt the catalytic/chemical process making the repair soft, weak, and likely to fail later.
Use a soft flexible margin float or gloved finger to apply into any hairline cracks, holes, or missing grout, and any uneven texture for a uniform look. If adding to a low grout joint, remember, it is best to use your restoration tool to open up the surface to expose fresh grout surface for a good chemical and mechanical bond. Don’t clean or tool the grout with the sponge until the repair has set up. If however, you wait too long the smears and residue will be more difficult to remove later.
Allow Rock Hard to set up before using the GroutGleam compound. Don’t worry if the colour doesn’t match the surrounding grout texture since the GroutGleam compound will hide the colour difference but not any differences in the grade so tool with the sponge carefully so as not to remove too much repair material.
Deeper repairs will take longer to dry to a light grey but can still be GroutGleamed as long as you GroutGleam all your repairs at the end of the job after you’ve used compound on all other grout.
If you have properly prepared the grout during the cleaning restoration process your GroutGleam compound should bond well and last a long time giving your client many years of service.
There’s no strict measurement process or ambient temperature requirement because the humidity of the environment changes all of the dynamics so it’s important that you work towards the consistency of “soft mashed potatoes” and understand that the stiffer it is the quicker it will harden and cure. When mixing a little larger batch, you want a little more time to install your repairs. You need to understand that water will quickly turn it into runny soup, so it’s best to literally add water drip by drip, even off of your fingertips to hydrate a small amount of the grout repair powder.
Clean the to-be-treated glass thoroughly. Use a professional glass cleaner such as EnduroClean, and a microfibre cloth (often a glass scraper is very helpful). Clean until you are certain all dust and stray airborne particles have been removed.
Shake the compound bottle and apply a small amount (about half a teaspoon) of compound to the microfibre cloth or our multi-purpose cloth.
Rub the cloth with the compound on the treated area and move in circular motions overlapping as you move over the area from side to side or up and down.
Use sufficient pressure while rubbing to ensure good friction and best deep cleaning results, continue until compound dries out or completely absorbed by the cloth you are using.
When the compound dries out, use the spray bottle to spray water onto the glass, microfibre cloth or multi-purpose cloth you are using and continue rubbing, you can also add more compound, after spraying water a few times you might need to add more compound.
Clean and inspect the treated area for the required results. If you still didn’t achieve the surface cleaning you were aiming for, repeat the deep cleaning process.
Using too much water in polishing will dilute the compound, use a mist spray for best results.
Rinse thoroughly once the shower glass is restored, and dry thoroughly before commencing the EnduroShield Shower Glass Protection process.
Using state of the art technology, EnduroShield leaves an ultra-thin transparent film completely adhering to the glass that will provide both hydrophobic and oleophobic protection.
This means that EnduroShield will repel both water and oil based dirt and stains. This protection will reduce the frequency of cleaning. It will also allow you easier cleaning of the surface, using only a damp microfibre mitt or water and a mild detergent.
In order for you to obtain maximum benefits, the surface to be coated must be thoroughly clean prior to applying the EnduroShield. This means that all soap scum, mineral deposits and dirt must be removed.
Please follow carefully.
Working in a well lit and ventilated area, liberally apply the EnduroClean to a small section of glass (approx. ½ m2). Polish the area with one of our microfibre cloths, until all streaks are removed and the glass has a shiny new appearance.
Move onto the next section of glass, overlapping a little so that no area is missed. Continue this process until the entire glass panel is clean and dry.
A second application and polish of EnduroClean is recommended for older glass. Hint: Getting the glass as clean as possible assures that you get the maximum benefit from your EnduroShield.
Now that the glass has been cleaned you are ready to apply the EnduroShield.
Hold the bottle of EnduroShield 10cm from the glass and spray a generous amount over a small area (approx. ½ m2) until it is completely covered. Remember, it is better to use too much product than too little.
Using our application cloth, wipe over the sprayed area from side to side and up and down, spread the product evenly over the ½ m2 area. Be careful not to miss any edges or corners. When you first start spreading the product it will appear oily and will become clear as you work it. Making sure that no area is missed, continue wiping the surface until the cloth glides easily.
Repeat the last 2 steps until all of the glass has been treated. Hint: Wiping over the surface for an extra minute or two guarantees a perfect job.
The application is now complete. While water can now come into contact with the glass, please allow the glass to cure for 8 hours before allowing it to come into contact with chemicals or carrying out any cleaning processes.
When cleaning your treated glass, be careful not to use any rough, gritty or abrasive cleaners as you may damage the coating. Use only a damp microfibre cloth or water and a mild detergent. For areas with hard water, a solution of vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) may also need to be used occasionally.
Congratulations, now the job of cleaning the glass has become much easier.
Remember, EnduroShield works on all clean glass surfaces, including mirrors.
Store out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. Ensure the area is well ventilated.
DO NOT SWALLOW. IRRITANT.
Eye protection and rubber gloves should be worn.
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or NHS24 on 0845 242424 in the UK. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth and give a glass of water. If product comes in contact with eyes, hold eye open and flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. If product comes into direct contact with skin, was well with soap and water.

Using our microfibre cloth, scrub the “sprayed” area using light to moderate pressure in circular motions to remove any build up of soap scum, water scale deposits, grout haze or dirt and grime. Hint: Looking at tiles from different angles will reveal the areas that need the most work.
Polish the area with our microfibre cloth until all streaks are removed and the tiles have a shiny new appearance. Repeat above 3 steps until all of the tiles and grout have been cleaned. Please allow short time for the grout to dry before applying EnduroShield.
Now that the tiles/grout have been cleaned you are ready to apply the EnduroShield. Hold the bottle of EnduroShield 10cm from the surface and spray a liberal amount over the lines of the grout and then over the tiles, ensuring an even coverage of the surface (approx. ½ m2 at a time) until it is completely covered.
